To ensure the safety of our valued community members during this unprecedented time, the 17th Annual Tour de Elizabeth has been postponed. However, we’d like to take this opportunity to do something special.

On Sunday, May 17, Groundwork Elizabeth will present a virtual 17-mile guided tour with lifelong Elizabeth residents. We hope you’ll join us on our Facebook page for this unique first-person view of our city that will begin with our scenic parks and waterfront, guide you through tree-lined residences and bustling businesses and conclude in Elizabeth’s historic downtown.

The 2020 Tour de Elizabeth Virtual Tour has been produced by Groundwork Elizabeth and is available for complimentary viewing. Donations can be made online and will support all Groundwork Elizabeth program areas including urban agriculture, youth development and environmental projects.

The 17th Annual Tour de Elizabeth will be rescheduled soon!

Check our website regularly for updates, follow us on social media or subscribe to our mailing list to find out more information as it is announced.

This year’s event is hosted by the City of Elizabeth, Groundwork Elizabeth, Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders HEART grant program, Greater Elizabeth Chamber of Commerce, Elizabeth Destination Marketing Organization (EDMO), the Elizabeth Avenue Partnership, the Historic Midtown Special Improvement District, the Elizabeth Development with support from companies, Urban Enterprise Zone Program and Shaping Elizabeth.
